1. Booking & Equipment Inspection

• All hire bookings are subject to availability and collection/shipping confirmation at our Royston workshop or via shipping.
• Upon collection, a staff member will demonstrate how to set up, operate, and pack away the ThermoFlow unit (including gas connection and water pump deployment).
• The hirer is responsible for inspecting the unit and included accessories (pump, shower head, hose, USB-C charging cable) before leaving the workshop.
• For shipped rentals, the hirer is responsible for inspecting the package upon delivery and reporting any transit damage immediately. Return shipping costs and safe transit packaging are the responsibility of the hirer.

2. Security Deposit & Payment

• Full hire charges must be settled prior to or upon collection.
• A refundable £200 security deposit is required upon collection or dispatch for shipping before equipment is released.
• The deposit will be returned in full within 5–7 working days of return, provided the unit and all accessories are returned complete, undamaged, and clean.
• Deductions will be made for missing components (e.g., shower head, pump, cables), physical damage to the unit or corner guards, or water/debris left inside the internal storage compartment.

3. Collection, Safe Usage & Operating Conditions

• Strictly Outdoor Use Only: For safety, gas-operated heating equipment must never be used indoors, inside tents, or within enclosed vehicle spaces.
• Gas Canister Compatibility: The hirer must use compatible, approved UK/EU gas canisters with the unit as demonstrated during handover.
• Water Source & Freezing: The pump should only be submerged in clean, non-debris water sources to avoid pump clogging or internal heater damage.
• Battery & Charging: The internal battery must be charged using appropriate USB Power Delivery sources (up to 30W Max).

4. Hirer Responsibility & Equipment Care

• The hirer assumes full responsibility for the equipment throughout the hire period.
• The ThermoFlow unit must be drained of water prior to packing and returning to prevent internal leaks or transport damage.
• The unit must not be disassembled, modified, or repaired by the hirer.

5. Liability & Insurance

• The hirer is responsible for loss, theft, or damage to the unit and its accessories up to the full replacement value (£489 RRP).
• We accept no liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss resulting from misuse, improper gas canister connection, or failure to follow safety guidelines (such as operating the unit indoors).

6. Others

• Try Before You Buy: If you decide to purchase the equipment following your hire period, both your hire fee and security deposit can be credited towards the purchase price, allowing you to buy the item at an exclusive discounted rate.
• Short-Notice Bookings: If you require the equipment within 7 days of your intended start date, please email support@nomadia.shop prior to booking to confirm stock and workshop availability.
• Add-On Quantity Selection: Please note that quantity controls (+ / -) for add-on items during the booking process adjust the quantity of items requested, not the number of hire days.
